Mantra Meditation: Introduction to a Path for Well-being

February 19, 2025, 5:30 PM – 8:00 PM

Mantra Meditation is a simple, but powerful, meditation technique that can be learned and practiced by any of us, despite our demanding schedules.
Barbara Kamara, a Chopra certified instructor, teaches us about the healing properties of meditation and this simple but amazing process.

In today’s society, the potential for our anxiety levels to become problematic is growing, whether we are aware or not.  Understanding ‘’why and how” stress deteriorates our well-being and how meditation can counteract those effects is our  focus. We will learn how meditation provides an antidote to stress, potentially reversing and preventing the harmful effects of our worries, which are often the underlying factors in our illnesses.

The mantra (silent sound, vibration) meditation practice that you will learn is specific and simple, yet very powerful:  Rooted in ancient eastern healing philosophy, yet adapted to today’s diverse lifestyles.  Practicing this meditation has been scientifically proven to provide significant health benefits and an overall increase in the experience of well-being.
Registration is required to hold your place: There is no required fee for this class, but a love offering will be appreciated.
