Join our networking group for local published authors. A number of our local authors have been wanting a group with which to share support and concerns as a published author. If you have at least one book in print and being sold on-line or in stores, you are welcome to join our group. This event is our first meeting, in which we will discuss it’s dynamic and organization. If you want to have input for the set-up, be sure you attend this meeting. This will likely not be a monthly meeting group, but rather a quarterly, or bi-annual, depending on what the group needs. Of course, we can evolve as we develop.
To Join: Click the Registration Button below. You will be sent a follow-up email with the time of the afternoon meeting on April 12. Please list one of the books you have published in the information area of the registration form.
To Clarify: This is a group for local published authors only. Local is being defined as the Greater Choctawhatchee basin counties, which includes Walton and it’s closest neighbors. Published author means you have a book that has been completed, produced, and is being sold on an commercial online site or in stores.
This is not a writer’s group that is focusing on how to get your first book published. This is not a group for those who have self-published but never sold your work beyond your friends and family. This is an organization for professional authors.
