Wine Wednesday: Long Hot Summer Reads

Wine Wednesday: Long Hot Summer Reads

June 11, 2025, 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM

Join us for a fun discussion of our favorite books and learn about books & authors you have not yet read. It’s a fun and relaxed social gathering for book people. We have started included suggested titles for those who are in need of ideas and like reading assignments.

June’s topic, Long Hot Summer, is our cue for books with beaches, coastal communities, or summer heat/weather that are significant to the story. You can interpret this topic loosely.
Suggested Titles: Long Hot Summer by W. Faulkner;  Safe Haven by N. Sparks; Beach Read by E. Henry  Also, you might try out our local authors, Blair Burns & Deborah Rine who write books set along 30a and Destin.

No homework or guilt: We discuss our favorite books on the topic, allowing us to talk about books we love and add great books to our TBR (To be read) list.
We share wine or other drinks and snacks as we have an engaging discussion of literature.

RSVP’s are appreciated to help with our planning.
