June 10, 2026, 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM
June’s theme is a divergence from our usual fiction geared themes, but we thought it would be a good time to celebrate poetry and poets for two reasons: 1. Next month’s theme is Victorian Era novel, so this gives our group extra time to read a longer or slower read. 2. We have poetry lovers in our group, some who also write, so this is a chance to celebrate poetry and the poetic form.
Sage & Dragonfly’s bookclub, Wine Wednesday, is unusual in that we assign topics, not titles. We come together and talk about books we’ve read that relate to the topic. This way we find out about authors and titles we want to read, and get to discuss books we love (or hate). We’ve recently re-opened membership as some of our group have moved away or have schedule conflicts. Come check us out while we have openings. While you can read any book you like on the topic, we also offer suggestions so that we can still have a shared discussion. Please RSVP to help with our planning.
